Mr. Wu Xiaoguang joined Tencent Holding Limited (SEHK:00700) in 1999 and was one of the early Tencent founding team members. He was A Chief Executive Officer of Tencent E-Commerce Holdings Limited; President of Internet Business at Tencent Holdings Limited; Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent Holdings Limited and Tencent Holdings Limited Investment Arm; Senior Vice President of Internet Services Division of Tencent E-Commerce Holdings Limited. He also in-charge of the Tencent's various Internet Services including community, community value-added services and e-commerce.

In Jun 2015, Mr. Wu decided to transit his role into an Senior Management Adviser in Tencent Holdings Limited up to present. He founded Welight Capital as his new milestone. As a Founder, being a Venture Capital investor that actively engaged in different industries such as: China’s technology, Corporate Services, E-commerce, FinTech, Finance, Education and New Technology etc. Being an early stage investor, Mr. Wu had invested in listed companies: XPeng also know as Xiaopeng Motors (NYSE: XPEV / 9868.HK), Futu Holding (NASDAQ: FUTU), Linklogis Inc (9959.HK) and various top tier corporates.

Mr. Wu is actively involved in Internet industry over 20 years. He has extensive insight in product research, strategic planning and development, product operations, marketing internet business. A great leading experience of managing MNC organization and also involved in different industries of investments.

Mr. Wu received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Weather Dynamics from Nanjing University in 1996 and an EMBA from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in 2008.
