Woo-ping Ge, a Principal Investigator at Chinese Institute for Brain Research, Beijing (CIBR). He received his Ph.D. from Institute of Neuroscience (ION), Chinese Academy of Sciences. Then he finished his postdoctoral training from the Jan Lab at UCSF. In Sep. 2013, he joined University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center as an Assistant Professor. His research has broad interests in glial cells, brain microcirculation, and brain metabolism. His team also devotes a lot of their effort in the establishment of new approaches/tools to study ischemic brain injury and glioma/brain metabolism.
