Lecturer Profiles

With the groundbreaking discoveries of generations of scientific giants (from Laue, Compton, Moseley to the Bragg father and son), the profound and subversive knowledge extracted from the constantly innovative X-ray scattering, spectroscopy and imaging experiments has become more and more important for solving challenging scientific problems and promoting technological breakthroughs. These research results related to X-ray light sources not only reshape our scientific understanding of the physical world, but also expand our ability to create influential new materials in fields such as engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, electronic devices and energy applications.
However, as we continue to focus on exploring the complex system of non-equilibrium and non ideal models, material innovation in the 21st century presents new challenges in science and technology. This means that the mode transformation in the philosophy and methodology of material exploration is imperative. What can the new generation of X-ray light sources and related technologies provide us in the process of coping with this round of scientific and technological revolution?
